With the elections less than a week away, Jeff Savage and Cllr Graham Godwin-Pearson have been out and about meeting people in The Barrows, including Barrows Road, Round Oak Grove, Springfield and Oaklands. They were joined by Graham's baby son (who slept for most of the afternoon) and turns 1 on Election Day.
The issues most commonly raised were tackling anti-social behaviour, traffic congestion and protecting the environment. Graham says, "Local government has a crucial role to play if we're going to leave the world a better place for our children and grandchildren than we found it. As Conservatives, this ethos is central to our beliefs."
