At last week's Cheddar Annual Parish Meeting, a representative of Somerset Wildlife Trust urged village residents to create an area in our gardens for wildlife, including bee-friendly planting, nest boxes, and un-mown grass.
Cheddar council candidate Cllr Graham Godwin-Pearson took the Trust's online survey to discover if his garden is wildlife-friendly and it is! Today he received a plaque from the Trust and a welcome letter to Team Wilder.
Graham says, "If elected next week, Jeff and I will work hard to encourage wildlife-friendly policy-making, but in truth we can all play our part by making our gardens havens for wildlife."
