District councillor Graham Godwin-Pearson has written to James Heappey MP, who represents Cheddar, Axbridge and Shipham in Parliament to ask about the provision of NHS dentistry in the area.
Graham says, "With the new developments in progress - and planned - in the area, capacity for NHS patients at local dentist practices should be increasing, not deceasing.
"It’s essential that local people have access to local dentist care on the NHS."
