The community of Axbridge came together this afternoon for its Civic Service in St Join The Baptist Church, Axbridge Square.
Community awards were given to Barry Walsh, who set up Axbridge Litter Pickers and is frequently walking around the town collecting litter before many of us are up in the morning, and Abigail Campbell, whose musical and sporting achievements make her a role model for many young people in the area.
The congregation were treated to music by the Cheddar Valley Lads and the Axbridge Singers.
The service was lead by the Mayor of Axbridge, Councillor Kate Browne.
