Graham Godwin-Pearson visited two local fayres today - the Axbridge Farmers' Market, which is a regular fixture, and the inaugural 'Seed the Day' event in Bridgwater.
Graham says, "The monthly Axbridge Farmers' Market today turned the town into a bustling hive of activity, with locals buying goods from bread to pies. It was great to see local producers, live music and Somerset Wildlife Trust with stalls in our market town.
"The sustainable Seed the Day festival in Castle Street and the Bridgwater Arts Centre was the first of its kind, with talks, bands and a choir, clothing and candles, and some excellent plant-based food options. I'm hoping that the organisers will make it at least an annual event.
"It was a pleasure to go to both and to see the products on offer locally."
