Wells MP James Heappey visited Rotamec in Cheddar to mark Apprenticeship Week.
The engineering company is hugely successful, and also trains young people through apprenticeships and T-Levels - something which has proved hugely successful for those taking part, and the business.
Mr Heappey met with the Senior Management Team, before touring the facilities and meeting a number of apprentices.
He said following the visit that the work the team have done to nurture young talent has been brilliant. He added: "The difference in the apprenticeship programme from when I last visited a number of years ago is remarkable and they have clearly made massive strides in their offering, as well as their relationships with schools and colleges.
"It was great to meet so many of them who are thriving in the business, and have bright futures ahead."
Paul Pearce, Sales and Operations Director for the Rotamec Group, said: “Having James Heappey MP visit our headquarters is a tremendous honour and a testament to the hard work of our team. We are proud of our growth and our apprenticeship program, and we remain committed to contributing to our community and the wider industry.”
