Bob Filmer is a councillor for Brent on Somerset Council, having won the election to the new unitary authority in May 2022. Until April 2023, he also served at the Sedgemoor District Councillor for Knoll ward, where he was the chairman of the Development Committee, bringing common sense to planning across the district.
