Last week, Graham Godwin-Pearson wrote to James Heappey MP regarding access to dentists in the Cheddar Valley. James has now written on behalf of constituents to the relevant Minister about the problem.
James says, "I am very concerned about the availability of NHS dentists in the Wells constituency. I have raised this with both the CCG and Ministers, but following a drop-in event in Parliament, I am writing to Minister Caulfield specifically about this part of Somerset.
"I will, of course, keep constituents updated on the progress."
The letter is attached.
Graham says, "I'm happy that our local MP is engaged with the issue and I hope that the Minister can tackle the lack of dentist places here in Cheddar Valley as part of her programme of work."
