There will be a referendum in Axbridge to decide whether the residents wish to request formally that Sedgemoor District Council uses the Axbridge Neighbourhood Plan when deciding planning applications. Eligible voters will be receiving either a polling card or a postal vote for the referendum, which will take place on Thursday 9th December 2021 and the polling station will be at Axbridge Town Hall, The Square, Axbridge between 0700 hrs and 2200 hrs.

- last date to register to vote : Tuesday 23rd November 2021
- last date for a postal vote: Wednesday 24th November 2021
- last date for a proxy vote: Wednesday 1st December 2021
The postal votes are being sent on or around: Monday 22nd November 2021
